Brigadier (R) Babar Alauddin Visits Mianwali on Chief Minister’s Special Directive
Brigadier (R) Babar Alauddin (Sitara-e-Imtiaz Military), Chairperson of Chief Minister Punjab’s Surveillance and Monitoring Directorate, arrived in Mianwali for a two-day visit on the special directive of Chief Minister Punjab, Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He was warmly received by Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya and other administrative officers. During his visit, Brigadier Alauddin inaugurated the city’s beautification drive by planting a tree in front of the Mother and Child Hospital. Emphasizing the significance of tree plantation as part of the Chief Minister’s vision to enhance urban aesthetics, he highlighted the importance of proper care and maintenance for the planted trees. He directed that appropriately sized trees be planted with systematic numbering for effective tracking. The Chairperson announced that the plantation is part of a multi-million rupee project aimed at beautifying the city roads. Furthermore, he assured that the Forest Department would ensure the maintenance of the planted trees for four years to sustain these efforts. This initiative reflects the Chief Minister’s vision for greener, sustainable, and visually appealing cities across Punjab.
