Assistant Commissioner Mianwali Piplan Ijaz Abdul Karim Conducts Price Checking in Piplan and Hafizwala

Assistant Commissioner Piplan, Ijaz Abdul Karim, carried out a price-checking operation in Piplan Bazaar and Hafizwala city. During the inspection, he checked the rate lists of grocery shops and took strict action against those selling broiler chicken, beef, and fruits at inflated prices. Shopkeepers involved in overpricing were arrested and sent to lock-up, with legal cases forwarded to the police station.

Furthermore, the Assistant Commissioner conducted an operation at Adda Hafizwala against violations of the Ehtram-e-Ramazan Ordinance. During the raid, hotel owners found openly selling tea and food were taken into custody, and legal proceedings were initiated. The hotel was subsequently sealed, and the owner was sent to the police station.

The Assistant Commissioner instructed shopkeepers to sell essential commodities at government-approved rates to ensure fair pricing for the public.
