Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya visited the Government Secondary School for Hearing-Impaired Children. He conducted a detailed inspection of the medical screening camp organized by the Health Department for special children. On this occasion, CEO Education Malik Ahmad Yar, Principal Malik Mushtaq Alvi, and Focal Person Muhammad Hafeez Khattak were also present.
The Deputy Commissioner observed the screening process and reviewed the medical facilities being provided. During a briefing, it was informed that the screening camp included counters for eye, dental, physical, and hearing assessments, as well as a medicine distribution section. All students were being medically examined and provided with necessary medicines. Furthermore, assistive devices will also be provided to those students who require them after the screening process.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various classrooms of the school and reviewed the academic activities of the special children. He instructed the school administration to ensure quality education for these children so that they can become productive members of society.
