Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya’s Visit to Government Special Education Center, Mianwali
Mianwali: Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya visited the Government Special Education Center, Mianwali, where he inspected various departments and classrooms, reviewing the educational activities of special children.
On this occasion, Focal Person for Special Education Mianwali, Muhammad Hafeez Khattak, was also present. While briefing the Deputy Commissioner, he informed that 83 students with hearing impairments, intellectual and physical disabilities, and visual impairments are currently enrolled at the center. He also mentioned that the Government of Punjab has provided uniform kits to all special children.
Additionally, Psychologist Seema Zahid briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the counseling services and other activities designed for special children. A special student, Sania, recited a beautiful poem for the Deputy Commissioner, who highly appreciated her intellectual abilities and talent.
