DPO Mianwali Chairs Crime Meeting with Officers of Three Police Circles
Under the leadership of District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali, Akhtar Farooq, a crime meeting was held with the police officers from Musa Khel, Daud Khel, and Isa Khel Circles.
The meeting provided a detailed review of the overall situation and progress regarding local and special laws, as well as law and order over the past three months.
SP Investigation Badr Munir, SDPOs/SHOs from the three circles, DSP Legal, DSP Headquarters, and all Heads of Branches attended the session.
Key directives from DPO Akhtar Farooq included:
- Improve and strengthen performance against proclaimed offenders and criminal gangsters.
- Take indiscriminate action against individuals possessing illegal weapons, engaging in aerial firing, or displaying arms publicly.
- Build a more effective information network to take strict action against drug dealers.
- Register FIRs without delay in serious cases, especially those involving sexual abuse of women and minors, and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.
- Arrest and prosecute violators of the Kite Flying Act, Tenancy Act, Sound System Act, and Electricity Theft laws.
