During the visit, the DPO checked the station’s cleanliness, human resources, manual and computerized records, lock-up, front desk, and CCTV recordings.
Instructions for Improvement
The DPO received details from the station clerk regarding the inmates in custody and instructed that all detainees must be provided with the facilities mandated by law.

DPO Akhtar Farooq stressed that the issues of complainants visiting the station should be resolved promptly and on merit to enhance public trust in the police.
