IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, visited the Punjab-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border, inspecting Chappar Police Station and Makardwal Police Station.
Meeting with Brave Officers
At Chappar Police Station, Dr. Usman Anwar met with the courageous officers who successfully thwarted a terrorist attack by outlawed militants. He embraced the officers, expressing his heartfelt appreciation by kissing their foreheads and hands.
Recognition of Exceptional Bravery
Dr. Usman Anwar praised the officers for their exceptional valor, highlighting their frontline efforts in repelling over 10 militant attacks. Their actions resulted in the elimination of 14 terrorists. As a gesture of recognition, the IG awarded cash prizes to the brave officers.
Commitment to Counter-Terrorism
Reaffirming the dedication of Mianwali Police, Dr. Usman Anwar declared that terrorists would not be allowed to infiltrate Punjab under any circumstances.
