Job Description
Namal University is seeking a Digital System Designer to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing digital systems for FPGA platforms, with a focus on high-speed interface protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement digital systems using Verilog for FPGA platforms.
- Interface FPGAs with high-speed external components utilizing bus controllers such as USB, MIPI, and GMSL.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex digital systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Document design processes and methodologies to maintain clear project records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance FPGA solutions.
Expertise Required
- Proven experience in FPGA design and development using Verilog.
- Hands-on experience with Xilinx Vivado or similar FPGA design tools.
- Familiarity with open-source FPGA platforms and tools.
- Strong understanding of high-speed interface protocols (USB, MIPI, GMSL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in implementing high-speed data paths and performing signal integrity analysis.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts is a plus.
Qualification
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
