Job Description
As a Market Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and market growth through effective planning and management of distribution channels. Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, handling daily sales operations, and managing distributor relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Achievement of sales targets and execution of daily sales plans.
- Handling distribution and managing stocks, including safety stock levels by brand and SKU.
- Executing daily route plans and ensuring proper supplies to all potential customers.
- Managing and supervising PSRs (Primary Sales Representatives) and distributor sales staff.
- Ensuring effective operational cost management to enhance distributor profitability.
- Overseeing coverage, distribution, pricing, and displays to gain market share and volume.
- Analyzing market trends and keeping a vigilant eye on competitors’ movements.
- Recommending and reviewing customers’ TOT installation and agreeing on payment terms.
- Focusing on numeric and weighted coverage in the market.
- Managing the balance between wholesale and retail business, addressing seasonal fluctuations, and converting territory outlets.
- Monitoring and tracking all KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Identifying new business opportunities in the assigned market.
Requirements
- BBA/MBA degree.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the FMCG beverage industry is mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the FMCG beverage sector.
