Monthly Meeting of Punjab Human Capital Investment Project Held in Mianwali Under Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya
Mianwali: A monthly meeting of the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project was held at the DC Office Committee Room under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya. The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Development Muhammad Shoaib Raza Khan, Focal Person Safdar Khan Niazi, and District Coordinator MNCH Dr. Ikram Ullah Khan.
Briefing on Aaghosh Program
During the meeting, the Focal Person briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the progress of the Aaghosh Program. He informed that in the last month, over PKR 4 million had been distributed among deserving pregnant women, and the process of providing financial assistance is ongoing. Additionally, errors in CNICs of beneficiaries were corrected to ensure smooth distribution.
Early Childhood Care and Education Program Updates
The Assistant Education Officer reported that under the Early Childhood Care and Education Program, 520 schools have received new furniture.
Directives from the Deputy Commissioner
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project is an important welfare initiative by the Government of Punjab. He instructed the concerned officials to speed up the process of distributing financial aid and the registration of pregnant women. Furthermore, he directed the authorities to ensure the timely supply of furniture to other schools under the Early Childhood Care and Education Program.
This meeting aimed to review and enhance the effectiveness of government welfare projects to support education and maternal care in Mianwali.
