Ms. Shiza Unab completed her M.Phil degree in Zoology with a specialization in Endocrinology from PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, in 2018. She also holds an M.Sc. in Zoology with specializations in Endocrinology and Toxicology from the University of Sargodha, Sargodha.
As a WWF-certified Ambassador for Environment Preservation, Ms. Unab has demonstrated her commitment to environmental sustainability. She has expertise in advanced experimental techniques, including Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry, ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay), and RIA (Radioimmunoassay).
Ms. Unab has published seven research papers in HEC-recognized international scientific journals and has presented an abstract at the European Congress of Endocrinology.
Her teaching career spans several years, having served as a Lecturer in Zoology at Punjab College from 2013 to 2015. She has been a Visiting Lecturer in Zoology at the University of Mianwali since 2020.
During her tenure at the University of Mianwali, Ms. Unab has played a vital role in organizing seminars and fostering joint research projects in collaboration with prestigious national and international organizations such as WWF, IUCN, and the Fisheries and Wildlife Department. She was also a key member of the team that organized the First Research Symposium at the university.
