Price Control Actions in Mianwali During Ramadan
On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya, price control magistrates continue their operations against profiteers during the holy month of Ramadan.
Details of the Actions Taken
During the past week:
- 22,787 shops and markets were inspected.
- FIRs were registered against two shopkeepers for violations.
- A total fine of Rs. 350,000 was imposed for violations of the Price Control Act.
- 319 shopkeepers were arrested for overpricing and non-compliance.
These actions aim to ensure fair pricing and protect consumers from overcharging during Ramadan.
