Punjab Food Authority Mianwali Foils Supply of Contaminated Meat in Daudkhel
Mianwali: In a major operation conducted in the Daudkhel area, Punjab Food Authority Mianwali successfully intercepted the supply of hazardous and foul-smelling meat.
During the operation, the Food Safety Team seized a pickup/van loaded with 250 kilograms of contaminated meat. The meat was immediately destroyed on-site to prevent any health risks.
An FIR was registered against the accused, who was subsequently handed over to the police.
Deputy Director Operations, Mianwali, reaffirmed the commitment of Punjab Food Authority to continue taking strict actions against those endangering public health.
