Recruitment Advertisement for Constables and Lady Constables (Punjab Police)
Punjab Police has announced vacancies for Constables and Lady Constables (BPS-7 with allowances) across all districts of Punjab. Applications are invited from eligible candidates fulfilling the following criteria using the prescribed application form.
Eligibility Criteria for Constables and Lady Constables
1. Age Requirement:
- For candidates from all districts of Punjab (Settled Areas): 18–25 years.
- For candidates from tribal areas of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur: 18–25 years.
2. Height Requirement:
- Male Candidates (Settled Areas): Minimum 5’7″.
- Male Candidates (Tribal Areas): Minimum 5’5″.
- Female Candidates (Settled Areas): Minimum 5’2″.
- Female Candidates (Tribal Areas): Minimum 5’2″.
3. Chest Measurement (for male candidates only):
- Settled Areas: Minimum 33″–34.5″.
- Tribal Areas: Minimum 31″–32.5″.
4. Residency:
- Candidates must hold domicile of their respective district.
5. Education:
- Secondary School Certificate (Matric) with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.
6. Physical Test:
- Male Candidates: 1.6 kilometers in 7 minutes.
- Female Candidates: 1.6 kilometers in 10 minutes.
Instructions for Applicants
- Interested candidates can download the application form from the Punjab Police website: punjabpolice.gov.pk.
- Submit the application form along with attested copies of required documents and a fee of 300 PKR at the relevant district police lines between January 11, 2025, and January 25, 2025.
- Candidates employed in government or semi-government organizations must submit their application through the proper channel with a departmental NOC.
- Quota Allocations:
- 15% for women.
- 5% for minorities.
- 10% for retired armed forces personnel.
Additional Guidelines
- Applicants must not have any FIRs or criminal cases against them. A declaration of no criminal record is mandatory.
- Applicants must ensure all documents (educational certificates, domicile, CNIC, medical certificates) are authentic and valid. Any false documents will result in disqualification.
- The recruitment process includes a physical test, chest measurement, written exam, and interview.
