Mianwali: Punjab Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for Price Control, Salma Butt, visited Mianwali to inspect the Ramzan Nigehbaan Package Distribution Center and the Ramzan Facilitation Bazaar established in the Model Bazaar.

Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Salman Ahmed Lone, and Assistant Commissioner Murad Hussain Nikokara accompanied her during the visit.

Salma Butt inspected stalls for vegetables, fruits, chicken, and sugar at the Ramzan Facilitation Bazaar and assessed the quality and pricing of essential commodities. She strictly directed the bazaar administration to keep the Ramzan Facilitation Bazaar operational until Eid-ul-Fitr and ensure that all essential food items are available in sufficient quantities.

While speaking to the media, she stated that under Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, Rs. 30 billion is being distributed among 3 million deserving families across the province. She emphasized that the Punjab Government is committed to ensuring that financial assistance reaches people’s doorsteps while preserving their dignity.

She further revealed that FIRs have been registered against 237 agents involved in deducting funds from the Ramzan Nigehbaan Package, and 64 cash centers have been sealed across the province.

The Special Assistant highlighted that 80,000 deserving families in Mianwali were approved for the Ramzan Nigehbaan Package, out of which more than 75,000 checks have been distributed, and over 65,000 beneficiaries have already received financial aid.
