Mianwali: A weekly performance review meeting of Price Control Magistrates was held in the Committee Room of the DC Office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Khalid Javed Goraya.

- The Price Control Magistrates were directed to ensure regular inspections of all markets and shops during the holy month of Ramadan.
- Strict Action Against Overcharging:
- Strict action must be taken against profiteers and hoarders.
- Heavy fines should be imposed on those violating price regulations.
- FIRs should also be registered against persistent offenders.
Briefing on Actions Taken
During the briefing, it was reported that:
- Regular inspections of shops are being conducted by Price Control Magistrates.
- 26 cases have been registered against profiteers during Ramadan.
- A total of Rs. 700,000 in fines has been imposed to curb overpricing and ensure fair pricing for the public.
