Welcome Ceremony for Mrs. Nighat Jameel at DEO Secondary Office Mianwali
The Punjab Teachers Union, along with the AEO delegation, extended a warm welcome to Mrs. Nighat Jameel on her joining as the District Education Officer (Secondary) in Mianwali. The delegation expressed hope that her appointment would be beneficial for teachers and schools in the district.
Meeting with CEO Education Ahmad Yar
Later, the delegation met with CEO Education, Mr. Ahmad Yar, who is always ready to resolve teachers’ issues. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the Seniority of ISTs and SST Promotions. The CEO mentioned that after the inclusion of an English teacher, a committee will be formed to complete the process soon.
Updates on Recruitment and Regularization
Additionally, it was shared that work is ongoing regarding the regularization of teachers recruited through the Public Service Commission. Regarding the eleven teachers recruited at the scale of 16 (SSE) via the Public Service Commission, a letter has been written to the Secretary of School Education. The CEO emphasized that resolving teachers’ issues is a top priority, and efforts are underway to address them promptly.
